I began training with Master Jim Fung in 1984. During that time I also travelled to Hong Kong to train under Jim Fung's sifu, Chu Shong Tin. After Jim Fung's passing in 2007 I continued training under my sigung, Chu Shong Tin. I am certified as a sifu by the VTAA, (Hong Kong Ving Tsun Athletic Association).

I have been practicing wing chun kung fu since 1984 and have made a living teaching it for more than 20 years. My sifu was Master Jim Fung who passed away in 2007. I worked for Master Jim Fung for many years and was also fortunate to be able to train under his sifu, Chu Shong Tin. On the passing of Master Jim Fung, I opened my own school, Chi Sau Club, and continued my training with my sigung, Chu Shong Tin. These days I make regular trips to Hong Kong, (3 times per year), along with groups of my students to continue studying under sigung Chu Shong Tin.
