Dai-Sifu Ingo Weigel is the author of “SELF-DEFENSE FOR MODERN TIMES” and "How Movement Makes You Smart".
Born in Russia and growing up in former East Germany, martial arts were limited and controlled by the iron fist of the communist government. Master Weigel, a former law enforcement officer, always had an interest in learning martial arts to protect himself. When the wall came down in 1989, Weigel had the unique opportunity to learn from the most respected Wing Chun instructors and train with the finest Masters. Weigel gratefully accepted and devoted his time to the study of Wing Chun and its philosophy. Here is also where he met his most influential teacher who taught him many of the style's secret movement, techniques and correct applications of the forms. With over 20 years of study and active training in Wing Tsun (aka Wing Chun), today Dai-Sifu Ingo Weigel is one of the most respected and most senior Wing Tsun / Wing Chun Masters in America.
