Master Henry Kuen-Hung Lo (盧建雄師傅), was born in Hong Kong and began training in martial arts with Yang-style Tai Chi in the mid 1960s. In the mid 1970s he took up Sum Nung Wing Chun and has been practising ever since. He began teaching Wing Chun in the mid 1980s, shortly before he moved to Canada in 1988, where he has continued to preserve and promote traditional Chinese martial arts.
In addition to being a Wing Chun and Tai Chi master, Sifu Lo has a black belt in taekwondo and has studied other styles of kung fu, such as Bak Mei. He has won numerous medals in both forms and push hands (Canadian Chinese Kuo Shu Federation [CCKSF] and Canadian Tajiquan Federation) as well as run several marathons. Sifu Lo is also an accomplished keyboard player, ballroom dancer, and lion dance drummer.
