lineage notes
My journey through martial arts began in my youth, when the movie "Entry of the Dragon" was broadcast for the first time on cinema screens. Entranced by the skills of human possibilities where for the first time in my life I saw that the fight can be based on a high class of skills, and not only on a series of random blows while building body and character as a self-taught I started training. However, the lack of appropriate instructional materials and a teacher made itself felt. Watching blocks, punches and kicks on the video, and training in front of the mirror shaped my technique. The first club I came across was Taekwon-Do run by Andrzej Undro (4 cup) and Sabum Kim Hiok Nam (5 Dan), who was a guest during my training sessions. In this club, however, I did not find a place for myself due to the low technical and fitness skills of the instructor. In the place of my residence it turned out that there are better players who impressed me with their bravery. In 1989 I was called up for military service. Having a choice, I got to the unit in Kędzierzyn-Koźle, where William Cheung's Wing Chun GM trainings were conducted in this town by instructor Adam Laskowski, now Sifu. It was during this period that I chose a specific training direction. For some time I also kept in touch with Wing Chun instructor Alexander Srokowski from Opole. After leaving the military ranks, already oriented in Kung-Fu, I made contacts with masters of its various branches. With the help of my brother (also a Far East Martial Arts Master) I met the Grand Master of the Shaolin Kempo Kung-Fu School Andreas Müller. It was the trip to his school that opened up wider horizons for me. The constant support of my wife also led me to the source of Kung-Fu, which I have been looking for over the entire 30 years of training. In March 2018, I became a member of the Teesside Wing Chun Association run by Sifu Mark Beardsell where I strengthen my relationships by shaping my technique and gaining new levels of initiation, I achieve my desired goal. The biggest joy and satisfaction of my training in the current organization is the fact that I got to the direct line of Wing Chun heirs through Sifu Mark Beardsell, GM Ip Chun, GM IP Ching, GM Samuel Kwok, GM IP Man from the school in Foshan.
