I began studying martial arts at the age of 7, practicing Judo with my father who was a black belt and a qualified instructor at Coni. In this style I reached the brown belt. In the meantime, since my father was a founding member of the Pam Novasconi gym, I also practice other courses at the same time, including Karate Shotokan, Full Contact and Boxe. These activities led me to have a rather broad and varied knowledge of martial arts.
At the age of 11 I started the course in the style of Kung Fu Ving Tsun of the WTO school (Wing Tsun Organization) of which I became a recognized instructor at the age of 16. For personal reasons, my father and I detached ourselves from this organization and began research on national and international soil. This research led us to Germany where we joined with the European Lok Yu Wing Chun Martial Art Association (ELYWCMAA) of which we became Italian representatives. For training we had to make many trips to Germany and organized many seminars in Italy for the responsible master. After a few years we also left that association for personal reasons and we joined with the Close Range Combact Academy of Maestro Randy Williams of which we became Italian managers.
After a few years and yet another disappointment we decided to leave this association and tried to get to the source of Wing Chun, so we decided to contact the disciple of Granmaster Ip Ching (son of Grand Master Ip Man, master of Bruce Lee) directly, Master Ron Heimberger.
Thanks to Master Ron Heimberger we found the Ving Tsun in Hong Kong, both my father and I became his direct students and the only representatives in Italy. We finished the system and opened various schools in Italy. I started my travels in America and Hong Kong (where I still go annually to deepen my studies) and I met Granmaster Ip Ching
In 2005 I went to Hong Kong where I was examined directly by Granmaster Ip Ching and other masters and I was proclaimed Sifu (master) worldwide. In 2008 Master Ron Heimberger died and I went to Hong Kong where Granmaster Ip Ching accepted me as his direct student. Fiu and I am still the only one in Italy (and one of the few in Europe) to be a direct student of the Granmaster Ip Ching.
In 2009 I was again examined by a commission of masters led by GM Ip Ching in Hong Kong. I passed the exam and I was also declared the Ving Tsun Ip Ching Athletic Association (Hong Kong) and for the most important association in the world the Ving Tsun Athletic Association of which I also became a Permanent Member.
Today I teach at the offices of La Spezia and Sorbolo, Sarzana and Porto Mntovano, but I have students all over Italy in cities such as Livorno, Parma, Crevalcore, Bormio, Athens, London and Gabrovo.
I am recognized as the Master of Ving Tsun dal Coni.
