Sifu Nevenka started practicing Wing Chun in 1994 and gained the First Level Master Degree on 10th December 2005 by the master Sifu Slavko Truntić (Wing Chun 5th Practician, Master Level 1 – Internacional Chinese Martial Art Federation). She started teaching in her Wing Chun school in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia in 1999.
Sifu Nevenka Savin was born and currently lives in Zagreb, Croatia. She started practicing martial arts and Wing Chun Kung Fu in 1994 at the Kung Fu club "Shan" led by master Veljko Matoković. Sifu Nevenka has been introduced to the principles and methodology of Wing Chun training by Sifu Milan Prosenica (Wing Chun 4th Practician, Master Level) and Sifu Slavko Truntić (Wing Chun 5th Practician, Master Level 1).
She has been developing her skills by training individually with Sifu Slavko Truntić, where she gained Student Grade in 1997 and her First Level Master Degree in 2005. She is still in contact with Sifu Slavko. The primary lineage of Sifu Nevenka are the teachings of: Leung Yee Tai, dr.Leung Jan (Leung Tak Wing), Leunb Bik, Ip Man (Yip Gai Man), Leung Ting and Slavko Truntić.
In 1999 Sifu Nevenka started teaching students in her school in Zagreb, taking special care about her students by individual approach to each of them and their progress, while simultaneously strenghtening group cohesion by creating mutual goals. This approach enhances both individual and group motivation for the practice of Wing Chun as a highly valuable and ethical martial art which contributes to personal growth and development in terms of empowering self-respect and confidence, while helping in the decrease of various health issues.
